Photoalbume-catalogue presents for the first time to specialists and the public one of the most famous in the late 19th century. – The legacy of photographers Chaimas Kaplanskis and his daughter Feitska Kaplanskaite-Taicienė in the middle of the 20th century. The publication publishes 201 photographs from the collections of the Samogitian Museum "Alka", reviews the tragic history of the family and the activities of the photo gallery established in 1894 by Ch. Kaplanskis telšiai and worked productively for more than half a century.
