Khaled Hasan was born in 1981 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2001, he started working as a photographer. In the center of Khaled Hasan's stories are people of this land and their connection with nature, their survival in difficult times, the struggle for daily necessities and the fight against injustice.

The series "Leave me alone" became the winner of the remote portfolio reviews of the KAUNAS PHOTO STAR 2012 festival. About a hundred photographers participated in these reviews organized on the folioPORT.org platform, and their works were evaluated by 48 photography experts from five continents. The main prize of the competition is a monographic publication.
The photo series "Leave Me Alone" tells the story of brutal acid attacks. In Bangladesh, home to 156 million people, 80 percent of the victims of such attacks are women, many of them under the age of 18. Acid disfigures the face and impairs vision. There have been 3,000 acid attacks in Bangladesh over the last ten years.
