"Photographer Remigi Pache (1955-2015) is remembered by colleagues as "the viewer". He had an absolute hearing for the light. The simple things he photographed and the tedious landscapes became insights of infinity. He listened to the poetry of the worn-out city and the squealing of garbage containers mocked by the seriousness of the exotic culture. He was always an outsider, detached from art fashion, insatiable to bureaucrats, gloomyly sarcastic, even in his own regard. His favorite word "shtai" is the finger of speech: behold, look."
