"The publication "Šiauliai Cathedral" consists of two parts – publications of scientific research and documentary and iconographic sources. The first part presents the history of the church, architectural development and a new source, which has been inaccessible to the Lithuanian reader until now– the "Cheerful Greeting" of the priest P. Tarvainis. Siauliai St. Prof. Habil, who has devoted decades to researching the history of the architecture of St. Peter and Paul Church. Dr. Vytautas Levandauskas, author of the study "Šiauliai Renaissance Monument" (Vilnius, 1988), presents in detail the architecture of the church, its change and more important historical events. He reviews in the article the publications of Siauliai Church and the most important sources to date, presents new information prohibited during the Soviet era."
