Kristijonas Donelaitis, Arturas Valiauga. ABOUT THE LAND OF LONGING

"The Land of Longing" is arturo Valiauga's project dedicated to the anniversary of Donelaitis. The book presents a series of photographs about today's Kings and the poem "Metai" published in four languages (each part in another language: Lithuanian, German, Russian and English).

The purpose of the series of photographs and the book "The Land of Longing" is to look at Donelaitis Little Lithuania in the context of today. The areas of Kaliningrad region (Kaliningrad region) captured in the photos are related to the life of the classic and were probably the social landscape of his poem.
