This book is dedicated to the work of Stanisław Filibert Fleury, a photographer who worked in Vilnius in the late 19th century and early 20th century.

In the book, photographs are grouped by storyline themes and genres. The images of the city and the surrounding area are presented in accordance with their geography, the portraits are arranged according to chronology according to the signage of the photos cards of fleury atelier, used at different times. At the end of the book, a catalogue of fleury's published works is attached, containing detailed archival data on photographs and glass negatives. At the junction of the 19th and 20th centuries Fleury was one of the best photographers and photo-viewing photographers of Vilnius. He created the most interesting works not in the studio, but by photographing the city, its streets, people, traveling around the vilnius surroundings. Fleury's photographs are expressive and authenticated by the artist's observed and immortalized ethnographic plots, captured moments of tradition and customs, and images of the city's everyday life, allowing you to move to the past and get to know the anuome Vilnius.
