Vytautas V. Stanionis (1949) highlighted the photographs of the album after finding a film of his father, as well as a photographer, Vytautas Stanionis, in which the inhabitants of the town of Seiriai and its surroundings were recorded. These photographs were created and intended for documents when the Soviet government exchanged Lithuanian passports for Soviet ones. Eighty faces look straight in the eye. The nameless images that once had to testify to being a particular person are now losing their identity and becoming peculiar allegories or metaphors of post-war destinies.
